sono come le donne :
gravide di preoccupazioni
allineate alla terra
protettive
sotto
ma bianchissimi riccioli di luce
fragranti come biancheria intima
sopra
e gli uomini costruiscono torri
campanili, ciminiere, antenne sui tetti...
sempre la testa tra le nuvole
i pił arditi

clouds in the sky over a plain
are like women
pregnant with preoccupations
alligned to the earth
protective
below

but the whitest curls of light
fragrant as underwear
above

and men build towers, belfries, chimneys, 
TV aerials on roofs...
their heads always in the clouds
the bravest
