Andrea is a heron
and a poplar
suspended between earth and sky

the heron that reaches down to earth with its long slender legs
but knows how to flap
his mighty wings

the poplar
deep rooted in earth
and towering high above it

the poplar was sown
the heron was hatched
before venturing into the sky
